PART FOUR - The Early Modern World (1450 -1750)
Part Four is composed of three chapters: Chapter 13, 14 and 15. These three chapter focuses on the early modern era, the beginning of globalization, modern societies and Europe's presence in world affairs. Countries like China, Japan, India and Europe are mentioned in a lot of those chapters because they experienced beginnings of modern eras changements such as a population growth, highly commercialized economies and etc.
In addition Chapter 13, 14 and 15 highlight changes during the early modern era since there is a mixture of what was old and new. Chapter 13 is about new empires: European, Middle Eastern and Asian. Chapter 14 consists of global patterns of long-distance trades and finally both science and religion in Chapter 15.
The World Map on pages 550-551 is labeled with the location/place & chapter in order for the us to see the mapping order/cycle.
